Not every Mitsubishi Outlander that rolls off the assembly line will experience problems with the continuously variable transmission (CVT). Likewise, not every lemon law case is exactly the same. However, if you’ve had to take your Mitsubishi Outlander to a Mitsubishi dealership four or more times for any of the following problems and the problem persists, you may be able to seek remedies under the California Lemon Law:
- Jerks From a Stop or Shifting from R to D
- Shifting Roughly and Noisily
- Slow Speed Shudder
- Lack of Acceleration
We have assisted many consumers who have vehicles equipped with CVT transmission systems where the vehicles have required transmission software updates, transmission control module replacements, one or even two entire transmission system replacements, yet the vehicles were never fully repaired. In all cases, regardless of how many trips to the dealership for a repair, there was and still is no permanent fix.
While anyone can end up with a lemon, regardless of the manufacturer, not all lawyers are capable of handling a Lemon Law case correctly.
“Admittedly, I was skeptical about litigating my way to a solution with a bad car. But Debbie Horowitz made this process easy and refreshingly professional. I ended up with more than I had expected and the process was handled thoroughly by her office.”
Well Done. — Bill D., Lincoln, CA
